Trapiche village lies some 2 kilometres from Vélez-Málaga lining the old road to Viñuela. The village has a church, garden centre, 2 restaurants and a bar. Although there are no general shops in the village there a two filling stations, both of which which sell a variety of goods and the town centre of Vélez Málaga is nearby.
